 As a new created non-phosphorus detergent, Sodium disilicate,δ-samdwich crystal (Sodium disilicate in short) can meet the three major functions of the detergent at the same time. That is to demineralize water, to provide the necessary alkalescent material in the water, and it has a high capability to avoid the deposit. It is the only product could replace the STPP currently. Hoechst company in German established a settle of test equipment in the 1980s in order to make a 25 million tons output per year. With the name SKS-6, the product was successfully popularized in the test market of Japan and west-Europe. So in the 1994, the company builds up the new equipment to make the 500 million annual output. And with the joint funds from an alkali industry company in Japan, the annual production increased into 1.25 billion tons. The market increasing rate maintains above 10%.
